Kismet Forward and Firelight Consulting developed an Engagement Plan and designed and implemented a range of engaging consultation activities in 2012 to enable community and stakeholder input into the Corangamite Regional Catchment Strategy (RCS).
The 2020-2021 renewal of the strategy saw Jen again involved in designing and implementing community and stakeholder deliberative engagement activities. Supported by Tamara Boyd (Intrinsic Scope), Sally Chandler Ford and Tracy Lyten (Skylos Ecology), the engagement project involved the facilitation and reporting of two online Catchment Partners Working Group workshops, two surveys and 18 online community/stakeholder sessions. The two-stage deliberative community sessions were held for each of the 9 landscape areas of the CCMA region. Evaluation of the effectiveness of the engagement process was an important aspect of the process.
Later in 2021, Jen facilitated an online workshop of Corangamite CMA’s agency partners to agree on the RCS’s implementation process.
