Community Engagement Training

In 2023 Jen was asked to plan and lead two training sessions for Surf Coast Shire staff.  The training helped staff understand their community engagement obligations under the Local Government Act 2020 and the Shire’s Community Engagement Policy. A further aim was to build community engagement capability, including understanding when/why/who to engage. In total, over 90 people attended the sessions.
