Engagement Practice development and evaluation

In partnership with Fire Light Consulting, Kismet Forward developed criteria in 2012 to assess the effectiveness of the manner in which the Country Fire Authority was engaging with its communities.
Following the assessment, strategies to increase consistency, integration and effectiveness of engagement activities were proposed.

Later in 2012, Jen worked with Nicole Hunter to coach the development of Communities of Practice for Country Fire Authority staff who were involved in community engagement.
This process involved training staff in facilitation and engagement practices, including overcoming ‘engagement challenges’ for staff at the coalface and evaluating program delivery.
